Students read realistic word problems and answer elapsed time questions such as:
It is 7:50. Andy is still skeeping. His alarm clock will ring in 10 minutes. What time will it be? School starts at 8:30. How much time does Andy have to get ready and walk to school?

The ten activities in this unit give students practice reading analog and digital clocks. As well students will gain realistic practice reading and using schedules.

The high-interest exercises are suitable for students in grades 3-5 who would benefit from additional practice or enrichment.
